NOTARFRANCO, Frances Jacqueline- Born November 17, 1934 in Glace Bay Nova Scotia, Frances Jacqueline (Jackie) Notarfranco (Gillard) passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on July 5th, 2018 at the age of 83. Jackie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her loving husband Robert Notarfranco and her three children Joyce Ann, Rhonda and Kimberly (Jerry VanderVeen). Proud Grandmother of Joshua and Cameron (Green), and Adriaan and Sofie VanderVeen. She will also be missed by her sister Enid Gillard (Warner) and her brothers Hurcel (Sheila), David (Anderine) and Irving Gillard (Joan) and many nieces and nephews. Jackie graduated in Glace Bay and joyfully taught grade 4 in Quebec and Ontario. She devoted her time to the St John’s Anglican Church and Pastoral care Visitor for Niagara Health System. Jackie was an incredibly compassionate and loving person, who always offered help to whoever was in need. She will truly be missed by all those whose lives she has touched.
Jackie is at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street where her family will receive friends on Monday, July 9th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon, July 10th at 1 o’clock. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
